Linux e-mail, messaging and VoIP Communications suite

Software developer Unison has launched what it claims is the world’s first fully-unified communications suite based on Linux. http://www.unison.com is where you can find additional detail.
Announced at CeBIT, the suite (also simply called Unison) combines IP telephony, e-mail and instant messaging with diary, address book and presence capabilities, all in a single Linux server. It is available free as a public beta.

Sony today unveiled four home theater systems featuring the new S-AIR™ technology, a wireless audio solution for multi-room listening.
By integrating S-AIR technology into its new home theater systems, the company will be delivering a practical wireless multi-room solution without complicated set-up requirements, such as IP addresses, WEP keys and pin codes. Wireless audio can be transmitted from the main system in the living room to multiple rooms throughout the home — up to 164 feet — simply by connecting a separate S-AIR Air Station receiver/speaker into a power outlet.

MythTV, New Release - 0.21

MythTV is a homebrew PVR project that has been under heavy development since April 2002, and is now quite useable and featureful. This new release has lots of new stuff. Notably: autodiscovery (less manual configuration of new frontends), storage groups (no need for LVM/etc), support for multiple recordings on one DVB/ATSC multiplex, a couple new plugins, some new deinterlacing/video display options, and many, many other things.

Hermes and Bugatti probably see a lot of crossover in their customer bases, so it seems almost fitting that they should team up on a joint venture. The “Bugatti Veyron Fbg par Hermes” (the Fbg stands for the Rue du Faubourg in Paris where the fashion designer is based) garnishes the “standard” Veyron with a bespoke paint job, some Hermes-branded wheels, door handles inspired by the design of Hermes travel bags, and a selection of onboard Hermes luggage. Large Binocular Telescope, First Spectacular Images

The first images captured by the world’s most powerful optical telescope have been released by scientists. The Large Binocular Telescope (LBT), which now operates from Mount Graham in Arizona, is able to capture detailed images of space objects millions of light-years away, having 10 times the resolution of the Hubble Space Telescope.
